Overview

The Baccalaureate examination in computer science involves more than memorising concepts. Students need to understand the logic behind the exercises, build algorithms and find correct solutions within a limited amount of time.

The computer science BAC preparation course, organised at Centrul Inotek, helps students study the subject in a structured way and consistently practise the types of problems they will encounter in the examination.

The programme runs throughout the school year, from September to May, with more intensive preparation before the BAC examination.

Who is the course for?

The course is intended for students who are taking or intend to take the Baccalaureate examination in computer science.

It is suitable both for students who want to consolidate their knowledge and for those who need more practice and additional explanations.

What will your child practise?

During the course, students will work on the skills required for the examination:

• understanding the logic behind the exercises;
• building and analysing algorithms;
• solving problems step by step;
• practising the types of tasks encountered in the BAC examination;
• identifying and correcting mistakes;
• developing a consistent study routine.

Preparation in a small group allows the instructor to monitor each student’s progress more closely and explain the concepts that cause difficulties.

How will the course be conducted?

The sessions will take place in person at Centrul Inotek in Cahul. Tests and other online resources may also be used during the preparation process.

Each session will last approximately 1 h, giving students enough time for explanations, exercises and clarification of questions.

Why is preparation throughout the year useful?

Starting preparation early gives students the opportunity to review the material without the pressure of the final weeks, address gaps in their knowledge and gain more confidence in solving exercises.

With consistent practice, problems that initially seem difficult become easier to understand and approach.
