The Educational/STEM Programs Manager
Project Information
In July 2024, the Inotek Foundation signed a grant agreement with the Embassy of Sweden for the implementation of the Inotek4Cahul project. The project's general objective is to enhance digital skills, support local businesses, and promote an innovation ecosystem in the southern region of Moldova.
Specific Objectives:
- Strengthening the IT industry by facilitating access to STEM education and supporting local entrepreneurs.
- Encouraging partnerships for innovation and entrepreneurship between the private sector, public institutions, and educational organizations in the Cahul region.
- Promoting technology, problem-solving through creative solutions, and increasing the attractiveness of STEM subjects for all beneficiaries.
- Facilitating the emergence of new businesses in innovative sectors and preparing them for investment.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
The Educational/STEM Programs Manager will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the educational activities within the Inotek4Cahul project.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing STEM & IT educational programs.
- Coordinating and supervising mentors, trainers, and the involved team.
- Developing educational initiatives and practical activities (courses, hackathons, masterclasses).
- Collaborating with authorities, educational institutions, and partners to integrate STEM programs into local education.
- Ensuring effective promotion of educational activities and managing program resources.
- Evaluating the impact of programs and adjusting them based on collected feedback.
Requirements:
- University degree in IT, management, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in coordinating educational programs.
- Excellent communication skills in Romanian.
- Minimum B1 level proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and other digital educational platforms.
Work Location:
The Educational/STEM Programs Manager will perform their duties in Cahul, Republic of Moldova.
