Robotics Program Coordinator

PROJECT INFORMATION:
In July 2024, the INOTEK Foundation signed a grant agreement with the Embassy of Sweden for the implementation of the Inotek4Cahul project. The general objective of the project is to improve digital skills, support local businesses, and promote an innovation ecosystem in the southern region of Moldova.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:

Encourage partnerships for innovation and entrepreneurship between the private sector, public sector, and educational institutions in the Cahul region.

Promote technologies, problem-solving, and creative solutions in education, and increase the attractiveness of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) subjects for both women and men, girls and boys.

Facilitate the emergence of new businesses in innovative sectors, building their capacity and readiness for investment.
SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, organize, and facilitate robotics workshops, courses, and camps for children and teenagers.

Monitor the development of age-appropriate and level-appropriate robotics curricula.

Maintain and oversee robotics equipment.

Identify and engage program beneficiaries.

Communicate directly with beneficiaries and their parents: provide information, guidance, and feedback.

Prepare participation contracts and manage related documentation.

Monitor participation payments and collaborate with the finance department for clear and updated records.

Promote STEM activities and actively participate in educational events, fairs, competitions, or exhibitions.

Support the training and mentoring of local volunteers and mentors involved in the program.

Monitor participants’ progress and prepare activity reports for the management team.

Build partnerships with schools, NGOs, and other relevant educational stakeholders.

Propose new ideas for program development and for attracting new participants or funding.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Administrator and/or Deputy Director.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

Completed or ongoing higher education in a relevant field: IT, engineering, pedagogy, automation, robotics, or exact sciences.

Experience working with children and young people – in formal or non-formal educational settings.

Basic knowledge of robotics and IT.

Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Strong beneficiary communication skills, including the ability to persuade and effectively promote offered services.

Creativity, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn and innovate.

Proficiency in Romanian, Russian, and English.
-
Availability for occasional domestic travel.

WORK LOCATION:
The Robotics Program Coordinator will carry out their duties in Cahul, Republic of Moldova.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Full-time, 5 days per week (Tuesday–Saturday), 8 hours/day, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
