Logistics and IT Specialist

PROJECT INFORMATION:
In July 2024, the INOTEK Foundation signed a grant agreement with the Embassy of Sweden for the implementation of the Inotek4Cahul project. The overall objective of the project is to improve digital skills, support local businesses, and promote an innovation ecosystem in the southern region of Moldova.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:

Encourage partnerships for innovation and entrepreneurship between the private sector, public sector, and educational institutions in the Cahul region.

Promote technologies, problem-solving, and creative solutions in education, increasing the attractiveness of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) subjects for women and men, girls and boys.

Facilitate the emergence of new enterprises in innovative sectors, helping them develop capacity and prepare for investment.
SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Logistics:
-
Organize and inventory equipment for robotics and IT programs;

Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of technological equipment and consumables;

Prepare and arrange equipment for events, competitions, and internal/external workshops;

Monitor the condition of equipment and valuable items in the center, including proposing repairs or replacements;

Ensure supply of necessary materials for daily activities;
-
Oversee equipment in workspaces and training rooms to maintain a safe and organized environment.
IT/Technical Support:

Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers;

Provide technical support for employees and mentors, including hardware and software troubleshooting;

Administer and maintain the IT network of the Center, including Wi-Fi, local servers, and access to online applications;

Oversee information security, implement regular backups, and ensure data protection;

Configure and maintain equipment for events and workshops (projectors, interactive boards, tablets, etc.);

Train users in the correct use of IT equipment and applications.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

Completed or ongoing higher education in logistics, IT, engineering, or related fields;

Relevant experience (minimum 1 year) in logistics and/or IT administration;

Knowledge of PC operation, Office applications;
-
Technical skills in network, hardware, and software administration;
-
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills;

Knowledge of English (intermediate/advanced level);
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

WORKPLACE:
The Logistics and IT Specialist will perform their duties in Cahul, Republic of Moldova.
WORKING SCHEDULE:
Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday–Friday), 8 hours/day, from 9:00 – 18:00.
