Overview

The Cisco CCNA Cyber Ops course is a professional training program designed to prepare specialists in the field of cybersecurity. Developed by Cisco Networking Academy, it provides both theoretical and practical training in detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents within complex IT infrastructures.

Over the course of 8 months, participants will learn to use tools and methods specific to Security Operations Centers (SOC), identify vulnerabilities, and apply protection measures for networks and information systems.

The program is designed according to international Cisco standards, widely recognized in the IT industry.

Course Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

• identify potential attack vectors and types of cyber threats;

• use network monitoring and analysis tools;

• apply procedures for detecting and responding to security incidents;

• implement protection and access control measures;

• assess risks and vulnerabilities of IT infrastructures;

• acquire the skills required to take the Cisco Cybersecurity Operations international certification exam.

Program Structure

The course covers both fundamental and advanced cybersecurity concepts, organized into thematic modules:

• fundamentals of network security and data protection principles;

• network traffic analysis and detection of abnormal behavior;

• security infrastructure and protection devices;

• attacks and countermeasures at system, application, and network levels;

• access control, cryptography, and vulnerability assessment;

• digital forensics and incident response.

Each topic is developed through practical activities and simulated scenarios following Cisco’s methodology.

Duration and Language of Instruction

Total duration: 8 months.
Instruction is delivered in Romanian and Russian, while the certification exam is conducted in English.

English proficiency is a mandatory requirement for participation and exam completion.

Certification

Upon completion, participants will be fully prepared to take the official Cisco Cybersecurity Operations international certification exam.
