Cisco CCNA Routing & Switching

Overview

The Cisco CCNA Routing & Switching course is a professional training program designed for individuals who want to develop skills in the field of networking.

 

Developed by the Cisco Networking Academy, the course provides structured training based on internationally validated methodologies and focuses on developing practical technical competencies in networking.

 

Throughout the 8 months of training, participants will learn the principles of designing, configuring, and administering data networks using Cisco equipment and technologies.

 

The training process includes theoretical sessions and practical labs that simulate real-world professional scenarios.

 

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:

  • design and configure local and wide area networks according to international standards;

  • manage Cisco network devices (routers, switches, access points);

  • implement security policies and secure connectivity solutions (VPN);

  • monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance;

  • apply basic automation and security principles within enterprise infrastructures.

 

Program Structure

The program is divided into three consecutive modules that progressively cover networking concepts from introductory to advanced levels:

CCNA 1 – Introduction to Networks

Introduction to the fundamental concepts of networking: topologies, architectures, IP addressing, protocols, and communication models.

CCNA 2 – Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials

Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco devices, management of VLANs, STP protocols, wireless networks, and basic security mechanisms.

CCNA 3 – Enterprise Networking, Security and Automation

Implementation of advanced protocols (OSPF, QoS), configuration of enterprise networks, and application of automation and security management principles.

 

Duration and Language of Instruction

The total duration of the program is 8 months.

Teaching is conducted in Romanian and Russian, while the certification exam is taken in English.

Knowledge of English is a mandatory requirement for participation and exam completion.

 

Certification

The course provides the necessary preparation for the official Cisco 200-301 CCNA certification exam, recognized internationally.
