The IT career orientation sessions in the southern region of Moldova brought national-level IT company representatives directly into schools, where they interacted with graduating students to provide them with a clear perspective on the benefits of a career in technology. During these sessions, young people learned about the opportunities offered by the IT job market, the access requirements, and the necessary steps to start a successful career. A total of 520 students from 7 schools in the districts of Cahul, Cantemir, Taraclia, and Leova benefited from these informative sessions, aimed at motivating them to develop their digital skills and explore the unlimited possibilities offered by the IT industry.

The activity was organized with the support of the project "Strong Enterprises and Communities for Moldova," funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), co-financed by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland. The project was implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), through ATIC, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the National Youth Agency, INOTEK Foundation, and the Municipality of Cahul, as part of the Cahul – Youth Capital of Moldova 2024 Program.
