SMEs and public institutions in the Republic of Moldova can apply to the first EDIH of Moldova call to access the “Start Digital 360°” service package — an integrated support pathway for digital transformation with a total value of €8,357, 50% co-financed by the European Union.

Only 40 places are available nationwide under the first call — 30 for SMEs and 10 for public institutions. Registration in the One-Stop Shop is free of charge, and completing the form does not commit the organization to subsequently contracting the services.

What does Start Digital 360° include?

The package provides a support pathway of up to 12 months, tailored to the actual needs of each beneficiary. In total, beneficiaries receive access to 164 hours of services, ranging from an assessment of their current situation to identifying suitable solutions and funding opportunities.

Services include:

• Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA);
• identification of needs and development of a digital transformation roadmap;
• development of essential digital skills;
• preparation for the responsible use of artificial intelligence;
• business development mentoring;
• connections to solutions, experts, and partners;
• guidance on accessing funding opportunities.

This means that organizations receive more than just a report on their level of digital maturity. They benefit from a comprehensive transformation pathway that connects assessment with skills development, solution identification, and preparation for investment and funding.

How much does it cost?

The full value of the package is €8,357. With European Union co-financing, the beneficiary pays only 50% — €4,178.50. The financial contribution is required only after the organization has been selected and a contract for accessing the services has been signed.

At the national level, mechanisms are still being explored to support the beneficiaries’ co-financing contribution through public funding instruments. However, at the time this call is launched, no operational government co-financing instrument is yet available. Therefore, for the first call, selected beneficiaries should plan for their own contribution of €4,178.50.

For interested organizations, this is also a first step towards accessing advanced EDIH services, including testing digital solutions before investing, technical expertise, advanced specialization, and support in developing projects to secure funding.

Who can apply?

Small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutions in the Republic of Moldova that wish to strengthen their digital capabilities and improve their processes through the use of digital technologies are eligible to apply. Eligibility is verified after registration in accordance with the criteria of the call.

Once the form has been submitted, the EDIH of Moldova team reviews the information, contacts the organization to clarify its needs and verify eligibility, and selected organizations then proceed to the contracting stage. Registration in the One-Stop Shop does not automatically mean that the package will be contracted.
