Do you have a business idea, a social initiative or a project you want to develop, but you don’t know where to start when it comes to funding?
The Funding Formula is a practical course developed for entrepreneurs, start-ups and NGOs that want to understand how to identify funding opportunities, how to build a project concept and how to write a clear, coherent and fundable project proposal.
Over the course of one day, you will work directly on your idea and learn how to turn a plan into a fundable project.

Topics covered during the course
During the course, you will learn how the process of attracting funding works and how you can identify suitable opportunities for your business or initiative. We will discuss funding sources such as ODA, AIPA, European Union programmes, international funds, grants.
You will also learn how to read application guidelines correctly and how to avoid common mistakes that lead to project rejection, how to check eligibility, what documents may be required for the application, how to approach co-financing, own contribution, implementation capacity and the role of partners in certain programmes.
The practical part will be dedicated to building a project proposal: formulating the problem, the solution, the beneficiaries, the objectives, the activities, the results, the estimated impact, the indicators and the mini-budget.
At the end of the course you will have
A list of funding opportunities relevant to you, a 1-page project sheet, a draft of the key sections of the application, a mini-budget and feedback on your project concept.
Who the course is for
The course is suitable for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs who want to expand or attract investment, start-ups looking for acceleration programmes, seed grants or competitions, as well as NGOs with an economic component or social enterprise.
