On June 12th, 2024, the third edition of the "Cahul Business Summit" took place. The event brought together over 150 participants, including entrepreneurs, youth, local and central public authorities, development partners, experts, representatives of associations, clusters, and the academic community, to explore opportunities for accelerating economic development and digital transformation in the Cahul region.
During the summit, investment portfolios, grant opportunities for the region, and the results of digitalization projects were presented, alongside methods of integrating digital solutions into businesses. One of the central topics of the event was the revival of the dairy processing line in the city of Cahul.
Cahul Business Summit 2024 was organized by the Inotek Foundation in partnership with the Cahul City Hall, with financial support from the European Union and Sweden within the "EU4Moldova: Startup City Cahul" project, implemented by the National Association of ICT Companies. The event was supported by UNICEF and UNDP within the "EU4Moldova: Key Regions" project, with the assistance of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in the "Digital Transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises in Eastern Partnership Countries" project, implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), and with support from FRUCT EXPERT-PLUS SRL.
