Cahul Business Summit, the most important local event dedicated to the development of the business environment and entrepreneurship in the southern region, returns with a new edition on June 12. The event provides a platform for connecting regional entrepreneurs with economic development actors, public administration representatives, national and international partners, digitalization experts, and potential investors.

The third edition of the event will be dedicated to presenting investment portfolios and grant opportunities for the Cahul region, as well as exploring and amplifying the potential and role of digital transformation projects in the region's evolution. Additionally, the summit will address the topic of reviving the dairy product processing line in Cahul municipality, aimed at supporting the region's livestock companies.

Cahul Business Summit 2024 will take place at the "Green Village" Restaurant in Roșu, Cahul. The summit agenda will include four panels of thematic sessions, focused on three development priorities:

Regional Development. The perspectives, opportunities, and investment portfolios in the region will be analyzed and discussed by representatives of Cahul Municipality, the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, the Investment Agency, the National Association for Inbound and Domestic Tourism of Moldova, and other development partners.

Cahul in the Journey of Digital Progress. The included sessions will highlight successful digital transformation projects carried out in the region, including the "Active Cahul" platform, the digitalization project for the Cahul Land Museum, the Sumboard, and eCharge projects. Here, experts, entrepreneurs, and government officials will address the digital needs of entrepreneurs, sharing successful practices and valuable expertise on integrating digital solutions in business and the experience of Digital Innovation Hubs in supporting the public and private sectors.

Strengthening the Dairy Product Value Chain in the Cahul Region. Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the Scientific-Practical Institute of Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry and Medicine, ANSA, Cahul Municipality, the National Association of Milk and Dairy Product Producers, and local livestock entrepreneurs will discuss opportunities for the development of the livestock sector in the Cahul region and the revitalization of the dairy product industry.
