Equal Chances through Digital Education

Purpose

Facilitating social inclusion and developing the digital and STEM skills of children aged 7-14 from vulnerable communities in Cahul district through equitable access to modern and inclusive extracurricular educational activities.

Objectives

·        ensuring access to digital and STEM education for at least 150 children from 5 rural localities by organising mobile robotics and programming workshops directly in beneficiary communities;

·        developing technical skills, logical thinking, creativity and collaboration skills for at least 50 children through robotics and digital education camps;

·        reducing financial and geographical barriers that limit access to extracurricular educational activities for children from vulnerable families;

·        promoting inclusion and equitable participation, including at least 50% participation by girls and the involvement of children from socially vulnerable families, rural areas, refugee children and, where possible, children with special educational needs;

·        strengthening local capacity to deliver educational programmes through cascade training for at least 15 education professionals.
