INOTEK Institutional Strengthening for Financial Sustainability
Purpose
Strengthening the institutional, financial and operational capacity of INOTEK Foundation to develop a more sustainable operating model based on revenue diversification, development of its own services, efficient use of spaces and stronger fundraising capacity.
Objectives
· developing a strategic framework for INOTEK’s financial sustainability, with clearly defined indicators, revenue targets and internal responsibilities;
· developing a cost calculation model and pricing structure for the Centre’s services and spaces;
· strengthening the internal fundraising system through processes, tools, staff training and the development of a pipeline of funding opportunities;
· diversifying revenue sources through the development and testing of paid services and the structuring of the sales process;
· increasing the utilisation of INOTEK spaces through offers tailored to different client categories and the implementation of marketing and sales actions;
· strengthening team competencies in areas such as financial planning, fundraising, service development, sales and organisational sustainability.
Key results
· a cost model and pricing catalogue developed for INOTEK services and spaces;
· break-even analyses and financial forecasting tools developed to support decisions on services and pricing;
· a fundraising manual developed and a pipeline of funding opportunities structured;
· a set of tools developed for sales and management of relationships with potential clients;
· an occupancy growth plan and a marketing plan developed to promote the Centre’s services;
· a new paid service developed and tested;
· internal processes, responsibilities and monitoring mechanisms clarified to support more efficient Centre management;
· the team’s capacity strengthened to combine own-source revenue with external funding and to plan financial sustainability over the medium and long term.
